YM · 1 year agohaha..dun be sad.. studies have shown that a person actually spends more time multitasking than doing one thing at a time. That's bcos as u say, not many can focus, plus u will be doing something better one thing at a time. :P
-
aronil · 1 year agohahahaha at least you admit it :P but some men do know how to multi task.. actually all ppl do lol, just depends what is their level of ability heheh. :P
-
aronil · 1 year agohehe no wasn't sad, just a bit frustrated at that time. yeap.. the better thing would probably be wasting time lol.. doing something which shouldn't be done like playing, or watching... ahem.. really cool.. ahem.. anime :P
-
Simon Seow · 1 year agoI prefer to focus task one by one. Can't get work done if multitask.
-
aronil · 1 year agoyeah i do to, but even trying to force my head to focus on one thing sometimes also doesn't work lol. I end going back to multi tasking :S

julian · 1 year agoSorry, that is the correct link but the reference to multitasking is not very clear. This one (<a href="http://clearinghouse.missouriwestern.edu/manuscri..."><a href="http://clearinghouse.missouriwestern.edu...has ">http://clearinghouse.missouriwestern.edu/manuscri...has a lot more information. The basic point seems to be that although multitasking is usually more inefficient than doing one task at a time, "men and women are both equally productive in the area of multitasking, women make fewer mistakes. "

This one has more detail: <a href="http://clearinghouse.missouriwestern.edu/manuscri..."><a href="http://clearinghouse.missouriwestern.edu...">http://clearinghouse.missouriwestern.edu/manuscri...Basically, it seems that multitasking is not as effective as concentrating on one task, but women are more accurate when multitasking

aronil · 1 year agoOk having a look at it now... ahhh so that's the conclusion of the entire research..
-
aronil · 1 year agoLol, I don't think I've seen anyone try so hard to get a link right :P thanks for the effort Julian and of course multitasking will never be as effective as focusing on one thing.. Take for example, being very active in a number of things like say music, sports and studies... you would like to be master of all, the reality is that you can't be master of ever single one.. not unless you are some kind of 'demi-god' ;)
