My Website Headache

I’ve had one heck of a week, there was so much of drama here and there but the one drama I want and have to rant about is the transfer of my site to a new webhost provider…

    eh, means all your posts are gone? how can, all of it should still be on the shinjiru server no?

    Hi aronil,

    wow, paultan recommend you to this..even himself did not use the server then can recommend to you..

    btw, the fact of your sites not been display properly is because of the DNS is not fully resolve. Maybe visitors of some part of the world still can't view the new aronil on the new server.

    Actually the transfer process is easy if you ask the new hosting company to help. Normally what they need is the cpanel username and password.

    If this is the only sites on the hosting then you can choose the option in cpanel to save and prepare to transfer option.

    If you still have this problems of the main page, what you can do is clear your cache and flush the dns in command mode of your windows.

    Paul Tan: Had some mess ups here and there but sorta settled already. But i will say that it feels like the loading is faster.

    Xbrain: OOhh pls don't misunderstand me. Paul has tried it and base on his recommendation that's why i gave it a go. well like is said my friend has already help me to clear up the dns issue but thanks a lot for solution. at least i sorta know what to do next time lol.

    ive experienced this when i transfering to new server..mungkin you punya server tak habis lagi propagate kot..huhu..i pun tak berapa expert dalam hal ini..

    xbrain: i do use the server. paultan.org is on a malaysian dedicated server (high cpu image for php, overseas dedicated servers of the spec im using are much more expensive sadly), but my images and videos are split between a few shared hosting accounts and webhostingbuzz is one of them. i also have a few other sites on webhostingbuzz. liewcf.com and raymond.cc are also in the same datacenter as webhostingbuzz (atlantanap), i picked it based on the decent route from malaysian IPs to the atlantanap datacenter.

    syamsulariff: my issue was more so the managing of the redirections page, at least i sorta know what to do for next.. if i'm ever silly enough to transfer lol
